This blog post will focus on some of the best drills to do before a game and during practice, that will generate hand speed and get you warmed up.
The first drill is chops. In your stance bounce back and forth over the ball as fast as you can while remaining as close to the ball as you can without hitting it. Great drill for hand speed.
Another drill is quick clamps. In your stance on your own or with a whistle just keep clamping the ball without exiting your stance. All muscle memory and just getting you in the rhythm of clamping
Next is clamp prohop. here you do the same as the last drill, but after clamping you stand to your feet without exiting
Next is clamp prohop exit. Same as before but exit and pull the ball out.
After these start getting a full cadence and practice full moves with a forward, defensive, and side door exit. After that work teepee drills. Finally work into live reps with a partner.
Hope this helps: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AM0y27biYmo
